Emi Yoshikawa, CFA

CEO & Managing Partner

Emi Yoshikawa is the Founder and CEO of Across Ventures. With over two decades of experience spanning finance and technology across Silicon Valley, Wall Street, and Japan, she has cultivated a lifelong passion for connecting innovation between startups and leading enterprises. Prior to founding Across Ventures, Emi served as VP of Strategic Initiatives at Ripple, where she spearheaded corporate strategy, international expansion, and strategic partnerships — including a key role in launching Ripple's ecosystem fund to accelerate global blockchain adoption.

Emi also co-founded the Blockchain Research Center at Kyoto University, where she served as an adjunct associate professor, fostering collaboration between industry and academia. She has served on the boards of SBI Remit, SBI Ripple Asia, MoneyTap, and the Japan Society of Northern California, and is a CFA charterholder and Harvard Business School MBA graduate. Recognized as one of the Most Influential Women in Bay Area Business by the San Francisco Business Times in 2021, Emi is also a regular columnist for Forbes Japan, covering innovation and entrepreneurship in Silicon Valley.
